We are Shai, Yesi, Margo, Fer and Carlos. We are outdoor adventure enthutiasts, and founders of Coyote Aventuras.

Join us and go off the beaten track to discover Oaxaca’s vibrant art scene. From handcraft, architecture, street art to a selected gallery tour, understand the symbols and cross cultural influences of Mexico’s tribal, cosmic and contemporary art.

Our passion for street art in Oaxaca started as we met the local artists, who shared with us the stories behind their art. We found a really interesting combination of creativity, activism, art and courage.

Stop At: Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico

Oaxaca is a magical city. The skies are deep blue in the heart of the valley. Women in embroidered huipiles, colourful houses, flowers on the trees, parades and local people garnish the streets. And then there's the street art.

We will be cycling around 3 neighbourhoods of the city visiting interesting spots, art workshops, and of course... street art. They are everywhere: big murals, stencils, posters. Oaxacan Artists are abundant and very talented. Its like visiting an outdoor museum.

During the ride we will have time to talk about local history, culture and traditions maybe with a drink or snack.

We are Shai, Yesi, Fer and Carlos. We are outdoor adventure enthutiasts, and founders of Coyote Aventuras.

Join us on this panoramic bike ride in some of Oaxaca's breathtaking landscapes. Visit non touristic places. Just with your eyes or with your camera, feel special in some of nature’s most amazing secret spots.

The idea is to start the day in the mountains of Oaxaca, in the community of Benito Juárez at 3,100 masl. There is a spectacular 360 view point of the Central Valleys, Oaxaca City and the Sierra Norte. From this point we will be riding the bikes on a panoramic road. We will appreciate the flora and fauna of the region as well as the local lifestyle. If we are lucky we can swim in a dam surounded by mountains.

Our main destination is Teotitlán, where we are hosted by a family of weavers who are happy to demonstrate their incredible work.

In the end of the bike ride, an ice cream next to the tule Tree.

This is a perfect combination of culture, nature and adventure.
