You will start the tour with a visit to La Venta Park Museum, symbol of Olmeca Culture and tourist atraction of the city. La Venta archaeological site was located on an Island in a swampy near the Golf of Mexico. Due to the construction of an oil refinery and an airport, big parts of this historical site were destroyed. The very impressing pieces found there have been moved to La Venta Park Museum. The poet Carlos Pellicer Cámara initiated the foundation of this open-air Museum in 1952, 36 megalithic stone structures have been transported from La Venta archaeological site and have been erected here in the park in Villahermosa. The park museum is surrounded by a zoo, with local animals, such as spider monkey and Jaguars.

Then you will go towards the interpretation center and living with nature " Yumká " majestic Ecological Reserve allows to know the ecosystem  and view the animals in full freedom.

Imagine entering the deep Mexican farm surrounded by a delightful chocolate aroma. Around Villahermosa City there are several cacao farms in the middle of the forest offering you a unique experience. In those former ranches, dating back to the colonial times, you will be able to see, smell and taste the cacao in its different stages and,of course, you will be able to take home some handmade chocolates.

Start your tour visiting a Mayan ancient city located in the lowlands of Tabasco "Comalcalco Archaeological Zone", the only city built with clay bricks.

Then we visit a cocoa farm in Comalcalco town where you will learn the true history and development of the chocolate, and enjoy many activities. At the farm you will be able to observe tropical plants and the exotic fruits and trees of the region. You will then  be able to trek inside the cocoa plantation and learn about the cultivation processes, biological characteristics, varieties and very interesting facts about their care.

Later, you will go to the showroom where prehispanic utensils and tools used in activities related to cocoa and chocolate are showed. This route is inside one of the warehouses where cocoa fermentation is done and where the chocolate making process begins. Workers are toiling in the same cellar, so you can learn the history of cocoa and chocolate and their transformation processes.

Visit the chocolate factory and learn about the entire process of making chocolate and handcrafted traditional recipes, as well as European modern techniques. Afterwards you will take a tour of Casa Grande and will have a tasting of different cocoa drinks and chocolates before being dropped off at the hotel.

Head to the Biosphere Reserve Pantanos de Centla and admire the tropical moist forest eco-region, situated in southern Mexico between the states of Tabasco and Campeche. More than 3,000 square kilometers hectares of area, it includes year-round wetlands and seasonally flooded forests. Close to there, you can find the famous mangrove woods, several types of moist forests and of course, some exotic animals like the Morelet crocodile and the alligator gar, also known as pejelagarto, a fish that already existed during the age of the dinosaurs.

The great diversity of birds is the main environmental resource of Pantanos de Centla, species such as the paspaque, chocolatera, mallard, pijije, pintail and hawk can be found. Among the mammals in this area, highlights include the armadillo, manatee, agouti and white-tailed deer.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Villahermosa and be transferred to the archaeological Site of Palenque. The name Palenque comes from Spanish and means “wood stake fence.” It is a literal translation of the Ch’ol word “otulún” which means fenced or fortified place. Located in the middle of lush vegetation, this is one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Mayan culture during the classic period. The city was named almost 200 years before the famous nearby Mayan ruins were discovered in the 18th century. Visit the famous temple of the inscriptions where the tomb of Pakal was found, the palace, and the foliated cross temple and, if there is enough time, there will be a visit to the museum.

Then, return to Villahermosa with a stop for a meal (at your own expense) before the tour ends at your hotel or the airport.
