Guide will take pictures of you and the marine life so please bring a USB memory stick. You'll be diving in small groups, divided by experience and you'll get dive equipment storage. The team will handle the process of cleaning, drying and storing your equipment for you during the duration of your experience.

The "discover scuba diving" program includes a short 20 minute video followed by a brief orientation from our instructor on dive procedures, underwater communication and dive skills before conducting 2 open water dives to maximum 40 feet. You will start the first dive in very shallow water on a sandy bottom getting used to being underwater and practicing a few skills. Once you complete the skills and feel comfortable you will continue with the instructor to explore the dive site and see the marine life around.  On the second dive we don't do skills and just enjoy the underwater world.

Check in is at 8:15 am at the dive shop. Please bring towels and sunblock. You will be taken to the best dive sites according to the daily conditions and make a strong effort to ensure different sites for your diving enjoyment.

Los Tamarindos used to cultivate sugar cane and after lying fallow for several years, the farm was rededicated to the cultivation of organic produce in 2003. Located in San Jose del Cabo only a mile away from the Estuary and five minutes away from downtown a 17-acre estate devoted to developing the most rigorous agricultural process. Carefully selected seeds and chemical free crops planted and cared in our soil by expert hands, result in a harvest of unparalleled taste and freshness. A practice the founder and executive Chef Enrique Silva has printed a culture of excellence and quality.

During this tour you will have the opportunity to tour the field, learn about the process of organically agriculture, receive a cooking class by one of Los Cabos top chefs and then enjoy a delicious lunch.

Guest arrives and congregates under a large mango tree where they are offered fresh juice or iced tea. As this is a working organic farm with strict hygiene standards, you will be asked to wash and disinfect your hands before the tour begins.

Baskets and scissors will be distributed for collecting produce from the field, and participants will receive instructional information on organic agriculture.

As the tour continues to the field, the guide and agricultural engineer with vast experience as an organic farmer, will point out different aromatic herbs and vegetables, demonstrate the proper way to pick each of them and explain what it takes to become a certified organic farm and how this differs from conventional farming, you will have time for questions and answers.

From the field you will head up to the ranch house for a talk with Tamarindo's extraordinary chef where he will walkthrough what the group will be making, including techniques of traditional Mexican cooking. This is a hand-on-course but appropriate for chefs of all skill levels. You will have ample opportunity to ask questions as you cook, and will get to smell each of the different ingredients will be use to prepare the meal.
